1. Make an Enquiry
Make contact with us - phone, email, web page or Social Media. We will get a few details about yourself and your project. Its great if you have an idea of what you want but not necessary. Other useful information is: Project Location, Total Area, exposure inside/outside, expected traffic foot/vehicular, budget and project timeline. Once we have the basics we will arrange a time for a Site Inspection and Design Meeting. Usually we can give some price estimates at this stage
2. Site Inspection & Design Meeting
The initial site inspection is conducted to confirm the project particulars and to make sure we have accounted for any potential obstacles. Once we know what we’re dealing with, we can provide recommendations on suitable decorative coatings available and each one’s pros and cons.
Then we move onto the design phase where we zero in on the type of coating system, the colours and effects available. We carry samples of some of our more popular selections with us or can meet at our product suppliers display centre where there are many different concrete coatings available to touch, feel and walk on before making your selection. We’re happy to spend the time with you when selecting your finish, we want you to be happy and confident in your selection.
3. Quote & Scope of Works
Once your project has been defined and the Coating System selected, we provide you with a detailed quote and ‘Scope of Works’. This outlines all the project particulars, products, colour selections, encumbrances, project completion time, deposits paid, total costs and any other miscellaneous information that may affect your project.
4. Works In Progress
Wherever possible, we like to meet with clients at the project commencement. We appreciate that we are often in and around your home or workplace and we try to minimise the impact of our operations on surrounding areas. We love customer engagement while the works are being completed. We are passionate about what we do and love to educate our clients on what it takes to get a high-quality finish.
Dust – We use specialised vacuum equipment designed to capture potential air borne dust during preparation activities. Our equipment and processes are combined to minimise dust escape but there will always be the presence of dust during concrete grinding activities.
Fumes – Some products release fumes when curing. If this could be a potential problem, we have many alternative products that may suit. We use Low VOC Thinners where ever possible.
Noise – We abide by all applicable noise restrictions. Any restrictions additional to normal council requirements should be outlined in your Scope of Works.
5. Completion of Works
On the completion of works the work party will remove all equipment, products and rubbish. We will give you clear outline of when your new coating will be ready for foot traffic, vehicles, how to clean and maintain it, so it stays looking fantastic for many years to come. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding your coated surface, don’t hesitate to contact us. Your satisfaction is our priority.
